Back to work

Last week I went back to work after four amazing months off. I was able to enjoy all four months with Claire as well as some time off with Cole as well. I was very lucky to be able to take this much time off as I only got 8 weeks with Cole. Looking back that was far from enough time! I have an amazing support at work and home to be a new working mom of two! We are all adjusting to me being back to work. Claire is adjusting with learning to take a bottle and using a pacifier while I am at work. Luckily I am working from home 3 days a week which helps so much in travel time and more time with the kids. With my schedule working 5am-130 pm Claire is only needing care from about 9am-2 pm which is so great! She loves after I pick her up to snuggle and hates being put down. As hard as it makes it to get anything done, I realized I need to let that go and enjoy these moments! Claire is now 4.5 months and got cleared to start solid foods! We didn't start with Cole until months, but that w...

It's been a while!

As I stumbled across this blog looking for a certain photo, it motivated me to start it again. While I was not the best, I documented some huge moments in Cole's growth and I want to pick it up again! To read all these great memories is a gift!! On January 26th, 2017 Claire Erin Frishkorn was born. She was two weeks early, but still 8 pounds and 20 inches long! This birth was a much different experience as a planned C-section. To be awake for everything was a gift that I missed with Cole. It was amazing to have Mark in the room this time and there to keep me calm. The second we saw her we were in love. She is a very sweet little baby, and also very stubborn! 😂 She loves to giggle, smile and play. Loves the ergo carrier and would love to be in it all day. She really hates the car seat and is not a fan of bottles. She sleeps OK, mainly up every three to four hours. She loves to snuggle, which is my favorite. She has reflux just like Cole did, but it is getting better with ...

We have been having so much fun With Cole this year! We have been doing elf on the shelf and have had so many fun adventures so far! We got to go see the live How to train your dragon show, and Cole and I rode the sounder there as well! (not too many photos cause my phone died :-() We rode the Santa train a few weeks ago, and even got to see santa on a fire truck! We are taking Cole to get his picture with Santa today so there will be more family fun! The santa train was so much fun! We went with my family and had such a great time. Cole told Santahe wanted Hungry Hippos, a lego train and a lego fire truck. He didn't haveany issue with Santa and had a great time. Here are a few photos from that trip: Pa and Cole Bear were very Matchy that day :-) The same night we went and saw Santa on the fire truck! Cole got to sit inside and even use the head set to tell the fire truck where it needed to go. He told the fireman that he wantedto help save people just l...

Family Photos 2012

Image
A few weeks ago we had the amazing Chandra take some more family photos of us. We picked Brown's point this time, as we have a special connection there since that is where Mark and I got married 6 and a half years ago. Cole was all about wanting to throw rocks in the water and everything else around too. Chandra did an amazing job as always capturing the shot when Cole didn't want to sit still! Thank you for everything! Here are a few of the many! There are a few in here where I thinkhelookslikeme as a child, but there are a few where I see Mark's expressions too what do you think? These are just a few that I added, we loved them all! So nice to have some family photos!

Pumpkin patch!

Today we went to a pumpkin patch near Enumclaw. We had so much fun. I love how many fun things they have for kids to do to really make it such and adventure. Cole got to ride the tractor train, play in the kiddie corral, jump in the corn box and so much more! He even got to hold a orange kitty! Maybe one day he will get one of his own, but not for a while! I have always loved fall, and all the traditions of this time of year along with Halloween. So fun to create new fun memories and traditions with our little man. Iove this time of year!!

Cole's Third Birthday!! Garbage Truck Birthday!!!

Well, our baby boy is officially 3 years old! We can't believe how fast he is growing up! As most of you might know, Cole has a HUGE obsession with garbage trucks. So for months now, he has been asking us for a garbage truck birthday party. So for a while now I have been planning a garbage themed bash! I had fun being able to use my creative side! Here are some pictures of us and all the super cute decorations I used! For the favors, a lot of iteas had to come together! I got trucks from Waste Management (along with Cole's cool shirt!) and same amazing little items from Clean Scapes including tattoos, sunflower seeds, and a pencil! I also made the kids custom coloring books with crayons! Cole had such an amazimg time! We got to hangout with our amazing family and friends, and kids got to run all over my parent's back yard. It was a perfect day for a party! Decorations !! He was all ready to open presents! That's all he wanted...
