It's been a while!

As I stumbled across this blog looking for a certain photo, it motivated me to start it again. While I was not the best, I documented some huge moments in Cole's growth and I want to pick it up again! To read all these great memories is a gift!! On January 26th, 2017 Claire Erin Frishkorn was born. She was two weeks early, but still 8 pounds and 20 inches long! This birth was a much different experience as a planned C-section. To be awake for everything was a gift that I missed with Cole. It was amazing to have Mark in the room this time and there to keep me calm. The second we saw her we were in love.
She is a very sweet little baby, and also very stubborn! 😂 She loves to giggle, smile and play. Loves the ergo carrier and would love to be in it all day. She really hates the car seat and is not a fan of bottles. She sleeps OK, mainly up every three to four hours. She loves to snuggle, which is my favorite. She has reflux just like Cole did, but it is getting better with medicine and me limiting dairy from my diet.
Cole is an amazing big brother. He helps us with her, wants to hold her and snuggle her and can't wait until she starts walking and talking. Or so he thinks lol. It has been an adjustment for all of us going from three to four, but I feel like now we are a complete little family with the addition of Claire. Cole is very into hockey right now but still playing other sports. Hockey is his life at the moment and he is obsessed.
Next week I go back to work after four amazing and challenging months off. I am lucky to have been able to take so much time, and so very thankful I did. I am excited and nervous all wrapped into one, but I know I have a great support system at home and at work! I look forward to having a space to document all our memories as a family of four. I will definitely be writing about both kids and the stories they both create 💖

Pumpkin patch!

Today we went to a pumpkin patch near Enumclaw. We had so much fun. I love how many fun things they have for kids to do to really make it such and adventure. Cole got to ride the tractor train, play in the kiddie corral, jump in the corn box and so much more! He even got to hold a orange kitty! Maybe one day he will get one of his own, but not for a while! I have always loved fall, and all the traditions of this time of year along with Halloween. So fun to create new fun memories and traditions with our little man. Iove this time of year!!

New Blog

Well hello there!! I wanted to start a blog for anyone who cared I guess :-) I wanted friends and family who don't live close to know all about Cole, and see pictures all the time! Plus it's a great way for us to keep track of all of our memories of raising our baby boy!! Cole is already almost 4 months old! I can't believe it!! He is growing so fast!! He's already in 9 month clothes... yes I know he's a big boy! For some reason strangers always ask how old he is, and when Mark and I tell them they always say "oh he's a bog boy" really? get out of town!! Cole's acid reflux is getting better with medicine, thank goodness. Poor little guy. He's a blessing though, despite the BAD LUCK that seemed to keep striking us in 2009, he was our one truly amazing blessing. Quality Time

It has been so nice this week, Mark is on a somewhat normal schedule!! We had two days off together last week and two this week! We have not had time as a family in sometime! I enjoyed watching him get quality time with Cole this week, seems like Cole changes daily!! Cole even got to sit on the Harley with Dad for a little bit! Cole loved it!! It has been such an exciting week! Cole has a new baby cousin Melanie! Now he has 3 cousins!! What a lucky kid!! I can't wait to see all the trouble he gets into with all three!! So fortunate to have such a wonderful family for Cole to grow up around! It can be tough being a working mom! I am so thankful for my job only working 40 hours vs those moms who have to work so much more! I miss Cole all day, and wish I could stay home with him, but I have to support my addicting habit of buying him clothes! Cole has become very interested in standing!
