Never a dull moment!



Hi there! Well things are starting to calm down now! FINALLY! Mark has been working like crazy, making me feel like a single mom! He finally got some days off, getting to spend some quality time with Cole and I. We actually get two days off together this weekend (sun, mon) which would be a first in sometime!!

Cole is finally over being sick!! YAY! He was better after his first stint, and then got two ear infections poor little guy. Then had an allergic reaction to ammoxicillian, which he got from me... the one thing I was hoping he didn't!! But he's all better now! Thank goodness!

Cole is now eating all kinds of foods!! He loves bananas out of his mesh feeder, and pears and apples. I am very passionate about making his food! I don't know where this Susi homemaker came from, but I like knowing I made his food, and it's all organic! Call me crazy, but I love it!

He is still in 18 month clothes, and still growing like crazy! It's funny how people think he is over one a lot of this time, don't they think it's weird he's not walking?? Some people make me laugh!

My first mother's day was a lot of fun! Got to spend time with both sides of the family. I am very grateful for our family, we love them so much! It is always so much fun when we spend time together! I look forward to Cole growing up with Kaylee, Jack and baby Melanie on the way any day now! He's so lucky!

Pumpkin patch!

Today we went to a pumpkin patch near Enumclaw. We had so much fun. I love how many fun things they have for kids to do to really make it such and adventure. Cole got to ride the tractor train, play in the kiddie corral, jump in the corn box and so much more! He even got to hold a orange kitty! Maybe one day he will get one of his own, but not for a while! I have always loved fall, and all the traditions of this time of year along with Halloween. So fun to create new fun memories and traditions with our little man. Iove this time of year!!

New Blog

Well hello there!! I wanted to start a blog for anyone who cared I guess :-) I wanted friends and family who don't live close to know all about Cole, and see pictures all the time! Plus it's a great way for us to keep track of all of our memories of raising our baby boy!! Cole is already almost 4 months old! I can't believe it!! He is growing so fast!! He's already in 9 month clothes... yes I know he's a big boy! For some reason strangers always ask how old he is, and when Mark and I tell them they always say "oh he's a bog boy" really? get out of town!! Cole's acid reflux is getting better with medicine, thank goodness. Poor little guy. He's a blessing though, despite the BAD LUCK that seemed to keep striking us in 2009, he was our one truly amazing blessing. Quality Time

It has been so nice this week, Mark is on a somewhat normal schedule!! We had two days off together last week and two this week! We have not had time as a family in sometime! I enjoyed watching him get quality time with Cole this week, seems like Cole changes daily!! Cole even got to sit on the Harley with Dad for a little bit! Cole loved it!! It has been such an exciting week! Cole has a new baby cousin Melanie! Now he has 3 cousins!! What a lucky kid!! I can't wait to see all the trouble he gets into with all three!! So fortunate to have such a wonderful family for Cole to grow up around! It can be tough being a working mom! I am so thankful for my job only working 40 hours vs those moms who have to work so much more! I miss Cole all day, and wish I could stay home with him, but I have to support my addicting habit of buying him clothes! Cole has become very interested in standing!
