It was all worth it

I cannot even believe it was almost a year ago that Cole was brought into our lives. While the day of him birth is still fresh on our minds, there is not another day that I have felt so many emotions as I did the day he was born. I still consiter that day the scariest and happiest day of my life. While the day itself did not go the way we planned it, once I met Cole... it was all worth it.

When I was pregnant, it used to annoy me people telling me all the time to get my sleep now. I was huge and Cole kicked all the time, how was I supposed to get my sleep? Well Cole may not be the perfect sleeper, getting up in the middle of the night does not bother me because I love holding him in my arms and snuggling with him. These moments make everything in the world seem perfect. and I would not trade it for anything.

Looking back on this year, I feel Mark and I have learned o much about our parenting values, skills, and also us together as a team trying to raise a child. I know that in the last year we have had our challeneges, and we made through it together, and it was all worth it.

Cole is so much fun and I enjoy watching him grow daily, but can we make it slow down a little? ;-)
