Back to work

Last week I went back to work after four amazing months off. I was able to enjoy all four months with Claire as well as some time off with Cole as well. I was very lucky to be able to take this much time off as I only got 8 weeks with Cole. Looking back that was far from enough time! I have an amazing support at work and home to be a new working mom of two! We are all adjusting to me being back to work. Claire is adjusting with learning to take a bottle and using a pacifier while I am at work. Luckily I am working from home 3 days a week which helps so much in travel time and more time with the kids. With my schedule working 5am-130 pm Claire is only needing care from about 9am-2 pm which is so great! She loves after I pick her up to snuggle and hates being put down. As hard as it makes it to get anything done, I realized I need to let that go and enjoy these moments! Claire is now 4.5 months and got cleared to start solid foods! It's been a while!

As I stumbled across this blog looking for a certain photo, it motivated me to start it again. While I was not the best, I documented some huge moments in Cole's growth and I want to pick it up again! To read all these great memories is a gift!! On January 26th, 2017 Claire Erin Frishkorn was born. She was two weeks early, but still 8 pounds and 20 inches long! This birth was a much different experience as a planned C-section. To be awake for everything was a gift that I missed with Cole. It was amazing to have Mark in the room this time and there to keep me calm. The second we saw her we were in love. She is a very sweet little baby, and also very stubborn! 😂 She loves to giggle, smile and play. Loves the ergo carrier and would love to be in it all day. She really hates the car seat and is not a fan of bottles. She sleeps OK, mainly up every three to four hours. She loves to snuggle, which is my favorite.
